Information used to operate WiFi

The local gateway observes the connected device’s IP and WiFi network address so it can connect the correct session and enforce remaining time. The service records session identifiers, accepted coin amounts, coin events, connection and expiry times, and operational diagnostics. Device identifiers and session records are processed by the local machine and the cloud service.

The portal does not ask customers to enter card details or a banking password. Coin payment records may be reviewed by the store owner when investigating a payment or connection problem.

Website, hosting and administrator access

The website and cloud service use Cloudflare hosting. Network request information, including IP addresses and technical request details, may be processed for delivery, security and troubleshooting. The administrator portal uses a first-party login cookie with an eight-hour expiry. It is used for authentication. Administrator login-attempt controls store a hashed IP identifier for a short rate-limit window.

Customer session credentials are held in the browser tab’s memory. The design preview does not create real internet credit. Current public pages do not load a Google advertising script.

Planned Google advertising

Google advertising is not currently connected. If it is enabled, Google and other advertising vendors may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve ads based on visits to this website or other websites. Google’s advertising cookies allow it and its partners to tailor ads using those visits. Required consent and privacy choices will need to be in place before relevant advertising is activated.

You can manage personalized Google advertising through Google My Ad Center. Google explains its use of partner-site information at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. Other participating ad vendors, if added, will be identified here before their services are enabled.

Support and records

If you email us, we receive the information you choose to include and use it to handle your request. Please include only what is needed to identify the issue. Payment and session records are retained for operating the service, resolving disputes and diagnosing failures. The current pilot has no automatic deletion schedule for those records.

You may contact the operator to ask about access, correction or deletion of information associated with your session. We may need the location, session time and enough detail to identify the relevant record. We do not promise that a request can be matched from an email address alone.
